Oneok Plans Gassy Oklahoma Investments

Oneok Partners plans to invest $340 million to $360 million in a new natural gas processing plant and to expand and improve its natural gas gathering system and related infrastructure in the Cana-Woodford Shale in Oklahoma. The Tulsa, Oklahoma-based company — one of the largest natural gas distributors in the US — plans to spend $190 million to construct the 200 million cubic foot per day capacity Canadian Valley processing plant in Canadian County, Oklahoma. The facility will be the company's largest in Oklahoma and is expected to come on line in the first quarter of 2014. After it is completed, the plant will raise Oneok's total capacity in the state to 690 MMcf/d.
