US Gas Futures See Weekly Rise Due to Bullish Storage, Demand

Natural gas futures got a boost last week after falling for consecutive sessions the week before. Part of the rebound in gas futures was due to tech-nically oversold conditions, but supply fundamentals did play a role in lifting prices thanks to a bullishly perceived gas storage report and forecasts for warmer-than-normal weather. While May gas prices could test the $4.30s in coming days, any further upside appears limited.
