More Efficient Gas-Burning System Being Tested

There's talking about fighting air pollution and there's doing something about it. An emerging tech company specializing in cleaner combustion and emissions control is taking the latter course with new technology for natural gas-burning industries. ClearSign Combustion recently signed on with Aera Energy to field test its proprietary Duplex tile combustion technology at a refinery in Kern County, California, where ClearSign and its subcontracted field engineering team will retrofit an existing steam generator unit with Clear-Sign's Duplex tile technology to test the system's design capability to achieve ultra-low emissions (5 parts per million) of nitrogen oxides, or NOx.
