Parnell Proposes State Support For LNG Project on North Slope

Alaska Gov. Sean Parnell has taken several steps to help the state's oil producers monetize the vast quantities of natural gas extracted on the North Slope. The Republican governor is proposing an incentives package for an interim plan to move stranded North Slope gas to in-state customers. Parnell has also held follow-up talks with potential long-term customers in South Korea.
