US Rep. Proposes Three Bills Advancing NGVs

US Rep. Lee Terry (R-Nebraska), a longtime advocate for natural gas vehicles (NGVs), along with US Rep. Sam Graves (R-Missouri), has introduced three pieces of legislation to promote the use of natural gas as a fuel for long-haul heavy-duty trucks. Of the three bills, all introduced officially Jan. 28, the first two appear designed merely to give the federal bureaucracy something to do, while the third bill could actually help level the playing field for NGVs with respect to competing diesel trucks.
