Venture Global, Eagle LNG Both Progress With Regulatory Filings

Venture Global LNG (VGLNG) has submitted resource report number 13 to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Fere) for its proposed 10 million ton per year Calcasieu Pass LNG facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. VGLNG is one of many "second wave" US LNG projects that are not turnarounds of existing import infrastructure and generally involve smaller, modular designs (p16). VGLNG is expected to have 10 modular trains of 1 million tons/yr each. Together, the 10 trains could liquefy about 1.37 billion cubic feet of gas per day. (NGW Nov.17'14).
