Brazil Wants to Sell Amazon gas as LNG

Brazil's HRT is working with Rosneft and Petrobras on a plan to sell LNG from natural gas reserves in the Amazon jungle. The three companies signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to study development schemes for a joint monetization of gas in the Solimoes Project in the Amazon region last month.
