Kinder Morgan-Copano Project to Support Production in Eagle Ford

Several pipeline companies are expanding their systems to ensure that producers can move to market the natural gas, NGLs and oil they are extracting from the expanding Eagle Ford Shale play in South Texas. Among them are Houston-based Kinder Morgan Energy Partners and Copano Energy, which are expanding the scope of their Eagle Ford Gathering joint venture with a $100 million expansion even before construction of the first $175 million phase is completed.
