Survey: Mississippi Is No. 1 in World for Oil, NatGas Investing

Mississippi is now ranked as the top place in the world for oil and natural gas investment by the annual Global Petroleum Survey, released last week by the Calgary-based Fraser Institute. Mississippi jumped from sixth place in 2010 to the No. 1 spot this year out of 136 jurisdictions included in the survey, based on interviews with 5O2 international energy executives and managers.
