Ineos Beefs Up US Ethane Exports With Rex Deal in the Marcellus

Ineos Europe AG, the Swiss-based chemical giant, is firming up its ethane supply arrangements for its European petrochemical plants and has signed a second deal with a US Marcellus Shale gas producer. Last week, Ineos and US E&P Rex Energy completed a natural gas liquids (NGLs) sale and purchase agreement covering not only ethane, but also propane and butane, that will be transported through the Mariner East infrastructure and exported by sea to Ineos two European cracker complexes.
