North American Gas Production Will Expand to Meet the Market

Natural gas production will continue to grow in North America because markets will continue to demand more, says Kevin Petak, vice president of fuel market analysis at consultancy ICF International. Speaking at last week's Canadian Energy Research Institute's 2015 natural gas conference, Petak predicted that total North American gas production - both US and Canadian - will climb to 110 billion cubic feet per day by 2025, up 24 Bcf/d from today's output.
