EQT Ups Well Recoveries, Drilling Locations in Core Marcellus Play

EQT raised the estimated ultimate recoveries (EUEs) for its core acreage in the Marcellus Shale—by nearly 1 billion cubic feet per well in some cases — and also upped the number of drilling locations based on increased use of reduced cluster spacing. The company holds 265,000 net acres in its three core areas of the Marcellus in southwestern Pennsylvania, central Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia.
