With the exception of a brief stint of short covering last Thursday, August natural gas futures prices were primarily lower trending last week. However, this week could bring about additional tug-and-pull to prices, as near term sum- mer cooling demand confronts growing production. Still, there's enough heat emerging nationwide to support a move toward $5/MMBtu in the near term.
