Despite spotty progress, the natural gas industry remains lax in disclosing the potential risks posed by hydraulic fracturing and related activities, according to a coalition of activist investors. But producers dismissed the findings as a bogus attempt to encourage 'divestment' from fossil fuels. 'Most of the industry-70% of the companies assessed-continue to leave investors substantially in the dark about their policies, practices and impacts,' said the group Disclosing The Facts, whichis made up of As You Sow, Boston Common Asset Management (BCAM) and the Investor Environmental Health Network.
