A method for obtaining quantities of Caenorhabditis elegans eggs.

This paper describes a simple method for obtaining quantities of viable eggs of C. elegans. The method provides a reproducible, cost-effective and efficient way to obtain quantities of eggs in bulk. This method could also be used to obtain synchronized juvenile stages. The surface-bound eggs were in various stages of development. However, juveniles of the same age could be obtained by serially flooding the culture whilst leaving the unhatched eggs intact.
