All-Russian Scientific School for Young Scientists and Students –“Instruments and Methods of Experimental Nuclear Physics”

The School provided a forum for the presentation and discussion of students’ reports on actual research works, the best of which were presented by the students of Dubna, Moscow, Yekaterinburg and Tula and which attracted special interest of the rest. Two excursions to the fast pulsed reactor IBR-2 and the source of resonance neutrons IREN were organized. In evaluating the School the participants gave it the highest score and underlined a distinguished quality of lectures and workshops and the efficiency of the event on the whole. At the end of the School a special discussion group for its participants was created on the Russian social portal http://vkontakte.ru by the students’ initiative to share photos, opinions and ideas for future similar occasions.
