摘要

The behavior of calcium in magnesium and magnesium alloys melted by the flux-free method in an atmo sphere of argon with an SF6 additive is studied. The variation of the macro- and microstructure of alloy Mg 2% Ca during holding of the alloy under protective gas is analyzed. Auger spectrometry is used to study the content of chemical elements in the surface film formed in the process of flux-free melting of alloy ML5 with 0.2% calcium.
