Russia’s natural gas output stood at60.238 Bcm in February, up 5.5%from February 2011, although themonth had an extra day this year.Daily gas production edged up to2.08 Bcm from 2.04 Bcm a yearago. Output was also 2.7% higherthan energy ministry forecasts onthe back of severe cold weatheracross Russia and Europe lastmonth (NC Feb.9’12).
