Transneft Seeks Money for New Pipes

Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft is looking at ways of financing the construction of the Pur- Pe-Zapolyarnoye pipeline that do not involve borrowing. One option would be to increase Transneft's authorized capital and a proposal along these lines has been submitted to the finance ministry, Transneft head Nikolai Tokarev said.
