Russian Oil Exports Seen Rising Despite Production Cut Pledge

Speculation that Russia's share of the global oil market could be hit after it joined the production cut pact between Opec and non-Opec countries looks to be groundless as Russian crude oil exports are expected to rise in 2017. The rise will be a result of a fall in domestic refining combined with growing production from newly launched fields, many of which have independent evacuation routes allowing them to export 100% of their output, further supporting competition on global energy markets.
