The Hoganas-led Powder Metal Gear Initiative recently demonstrated the successful completion of a further stage in the development of PM automotive transmission gears. Meanwhile at the EURO PM2015 Congress in Reims, France, Anders Flodin and colleagues gave some details and test data relating to the PM gear manufacturing process.
