摘要

Results of a study of the effect of the initial structure (granular and lamellar pearlite) of medium-carbon alloy steel 45KhN2MFA-Sh used for the production of torsion shafts on its deformability and hardenability in the process of preliminary thermomechanical treatment (PTMT) involving cold longitudinal rolling in dead rollers are presented. The metal with an initial structure of lamellar pearlite is shown to be more advantageous with respect to the hardening intensity during the rolling and the combination of mechanical properties after the PTMT.
