Bashneft is starting 2014 on an positive note, targeting further production growth, the return of the license to the Trebs and Titov fields to its joint venture with Lukoil and an initial public offering (IPO) at the end of the year. The sale of the oil producer by its owner, investment holding AFK Sistema, which was widely discussed last year, seems to be off the agenda.
