Higher Russian diesel exports aren’t enough to alleviate the current prompt fuel shortage in Europe with the main arbitrage from the US Gulf still stuck in reverse. Traders said more 0.1% sulfur Russian gasoil and European heating oil was heading into the US northeast than clean diesel was coming in the opposite direction from the US Gulf Coast to Europe.
