Featuring accuracy, reliability, top-quality surface finish and automatic wire threading, the Agiecut Classic series from Agie USA, Davidson, NC, has been expanded to include the Classic 2S for submerged cutting.All series systems incorporate the Agie high-speed super surface generator to achieve standard accuracies at cutting speeds of 28 sq. in./hr. The Agiecut Classic 2S leaves no white layer and achieves surface finishes to 0.3 #mu#m Ra (14.4 RMS), and 0.2 #mu#m Ra (7 RMS) when the option "R Module Ra 0.2" is used. It can handle a 55-lb. wire spool as well as an automatic wire-handling system that transport 0.008-in. to 0.013-in.-dia. wire from the spool tot eh front brake for simple setup, with an option for transport of 0.004-in. to 0.006-in.-dia. wire.
