Like Talan Products and Interlake Stamping, Zierick Manufacturing sees future success stemming from the ability to foster and maintain partnerships with customers. The Mount Kisco, NY, company manufactures standard or custom connectors, many ending up on circuit boards, and also builds assembly equipment for electronic applications. The partnership plan is paying dividends as Zierick looks to take advantage of an expected upsurge in medical products, a market the company has targeted for entry. "The best thing about the medical market is that more and more customers want that work done here in the United States," says Gretchen Zierick, president of Zierick Manufacturing. "They do not want to deal with overseas manufacturing, they don't want to deal with Asia, and they want the controls here. So that is good for American manufacturers."
