PKN Orlen Upgrades Lithuanian Refinery, Drops Sale Plans

Poland’s PKN Orlen on Jun. 6 re- sumed production at its Lithuanian re- finery in Mazeikiai after wrapping up the largest turnaround in the plant’s 30-odd year history. Officials at Orlen Lietuva, PKN Orlen’s wholly owned Lithuanian subsidiary, say the upgrade will increase energy efficiency, safety, and yields of light products.
