Tatneft Makes Huge Kalmykia Gas Find

Russian regional producer Kalmneftegas says it has made a massive gas find in the republic of Kalmykia, where its 50% owner, Tatneft, had earlier asked to be allowed to freeze license obligations to help it weather the global financial storm (NC Dec.18,p5).
