The Chemical Metrology Committee (CMC) held a meeting August 7, 2006 at the Annual Workshop and Symposium. Mike Bishop, representing David Rohde, led the meeting. The committee charter and prior goals and objectives were reviewed, as listed below. Serve as a forum for information exchange among calibration and testing laboratory managers and staff on chemical metrology issues at both the national and international level. Provide communication and information for member organizations with regard to chemical measurement traceability, uncertainty analysis, standards availability, documentary standards development and distribution, accreditation needs and requirements, benchmarking criteria and schedule, and interlaboratory comparisons.
