MIKE SURACI VISITS DAVE MITCHELL AT HIS RETIREMENT HOME

Mike and Andrea Suraci drove over to Grand Junction, Colorado to visit Dave Mitchell after the 2004 conference. We had re-established contact with Dave in 2001, when working on the 40th Anniversary Newsletter, and Mike had communicated with Dave. Decades after leaving his Colorado home to work at NBS, Fluke, and Rockwell, Dave and his wife, Von, retired back to their roots, near his birthplace in Rifle. CO. Dave ended his work with Rockwell as Vice-President in Seal Beach, CA. He is an expert in manufacturing technologies and has made direct testimony to the US Congress on automation and robotics. He has authored over 50 papers and articles covering a broad range of technical and management subjects in the fields of quality assurance, metrology, automation, computer integrated manufacturing and advanced manufacturing technologies.
