China: scrap collectors speed up sales amid unstable finished product market

Recently, prices for steel scrap have been stable in China and traders think they will hardly go higher. Tighter lendingpolicy has somewhat destabilized steel product markets, causing decreases in prices for some products. Under thecircumstances, the upward trend in raw material segment is unlikely to continue.
