摘要

The optical properties of amorphous and polycrystalline cobalt disilicide have been investigated by means of the spectroscopic ellipsometry technique within the energy range 0.5-5.0 eV. The features observed in the experimental optical-conductivity spectrum for polycrystalline CoSi2 were interpreted by comparison with the results of theoretical calculation of the electron energy spectrum and dielectric function. It was shown that the loss of the translational invariance in amorphous state leads to significant smearing. and shift of the interband absorption peaks towards the low energy side. Analysis of alterations in the electron energy structure of the CoSi_2 compound caused by the loss of the translational symmetry has been carried out.
