摘要

Thermal expansion of Fe -VC_(0.75) alloys within the whole concentration inter-val and in the temperature range from 0 to 800 deg C was studied by using dila-tometric analysis. It was found that in the solid solution region V decreases and C increases the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of these alloys. It was found that the CTE increases sharply as the carbide content in the alloys is less than 3 wt. percent (in ternary solid solution region of C and V in Fe), and it is caused by a more influence of C than the V one. When the alloy contains more than 3 wt. percent carbide (in two-phase region of + ), the CTE decreases. There is negative deviation from the additivity rule for the concentration dependence of the CTE. This dependence is described by equa-tion that allows for the elasticity moduli of phases.
