SAIL (India) continues to revamp Jagdishpur SAIL Unit

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) continues to implement a project on reconstruction of Jagdishpur SAIL Unit (JSU) (formerMalvika Steel), which was acquired in February 2009. In November 2011 the company plans to launch a TMT bar mill(150,000 tpy) and associated equipment, installation of which started on July 26, 2010. Besides, installation of a galvanisedsheet corrugation unit (13,000 tpy) as well as construction of a warehouse (12,000 tpy) will be completed in Q1.
