Poland: upturn of longs prices gathers pace

The situation in the Polish longs market is still difficult. It is problematic for steelmakers to determine production costs without January contracts for scrap, prices for which are forecast to add about EUR 40/t, and as a result they are unable to announce preliminary quotations of finished products.
