China: domestic prices for HDG go up, export ones to follow

Chinese exporters of galvanized products have not agreed on a commonprice policy after the national holidays. Some of them have started cuttingthere offers in order to de-stock. The rest have put up their quotes, waitingfor orders from South America and Middle East, and pointing at higher costsof HR and CR feedstock and increases from Indian sellers. As a result, theprices of Chinese HDG suppliers have moved in different directions duringthe past two weeks (within $10-20/t).
