CIS scrap exporters reduce expenses because Turks are inactive

In late September, Russian and Ukrainian scrap exporters are realizing thatthe last-year scenario, when the demand for import scrap in Turkey did notrecover after Ramadan, may repeat itself this year. The optimistic expectationsthat Middle Eastern buyers of Turkish steel products will become more activeafter the holiday period, being the main reason for last-month price increasesin finished steel and scrap segments, have not come true yet.
