Prices for import flats to the Philippines continue to grow amid rising pricesfor raw materials. Compared to end-February, prices for Chinese HRC haverisen by $50/t, for CRC – by $30-60/t. Quotations of South Korean HRC havegrown by $45-50/t. Besides, after China Steel announced an increase, otherTaiwanese suppliers have resumed offering flats too. Furthermore, marketparticipants expect prices for import flats to go further up soon.
