The Influence of Stresses on Intermediate Phases' Nucleation Under Reactive Diffusion

The influence of stresses generated by the difference in molar volumes on the nucleation barrier of intermediate phases in the field of concentration gradient has been analyzed. This stress effect is shown to be significant only in the vi-cinity of the critical concentration gradient.
