The equation of the p-V state for crystallites in sheets of the a-Ti alloy IIT-3B_(KT) subject to the cross hot rolling followed by cold rolling is considered. A pressure magnitude was determined as a hydrostatic component of the residual macrostress tensor calculated from the X-ray data according to Hooke's law. The modulus of the volume compression was calculated through the compliance tensor components of the crystallites that were found for each degree of deformation of the sheets within the limits of Hill's approximation using experimental data on Young's modulus anisotropy and integral characteristics of the texture. The volume of the crystallites was estimated from the X-ray data. A semiempirical potential for pure Ti single crystal with modification of a parameter responsible for attraction of atoms was used as potential of interatomic interaction. Derived p-V equation has been found to describe satisfactorily experimental data on the IIT-3BKT alloy samples under investigation.
