Tata Steel (India) plans to build BF in Chhattisgarh

India’s Tata Steel preliminarily plans to build blast furnace under the project on a construction of new steelmaking plan in Chhattisgarh. The furnace is expected to have a capacity of 3.4 mtpy of pig iron and inner volume of 4,200 cu m. Besides, the project also includes commissioning of coke plant (1.5 mt).
