This one-day seminar will teach you all about aluminum. It begins by familiarizing attendees with the properties of aluminum and moves into designing aluminum structural members and connections. It covers the types of structures for which aluminum is best suited, aluminum product forms, Aluminum Association alloy and temper designation systems, mechanical properties of aluminum, protecting against corrosion, tension members, local buckling, columns, beams, fatigue, as well as welded, screwed and bolted connections, and the effect of welding on member strength and more.
