摘要

The low price of oil and gas has put a damper on steel's energy pipe and tube markets, but these woes are merely short-term headaches for an industry virtually assured of long-term vitality. At October's CRU North American Steel 2015 Conference in Chicago, consultant Brian Habacivch was positively exuberant about the United States' energy outlook. "We are an energy giant. We don't act like it, and our political class doesn't know it or doesn't like it. But we're the most energy-rich country in the world," he said.
