A field experiment was conducted during the year 2004-05 to study the effect of sewage biosolid and fertilizer level on maize (kharif) and groundnut (Rabi I summer). The results of the experiments have revealed that the application of sewage biosolidand fertilizer level either individually or in combination increased the growth and yield of maize and groundnut crop significantly. The highest yield of both maize and groundnut crop yield was obtained in the treatment receiving a combination of sewagebiosolid at the rate of 201 / ha and application of 100 per cent RDF. The extent of increase in yield due to sewage biosolid at the rate of 201 / ha over absolute control was 36.5 per cent maize and 22.7 per cent in groundnut. The effect of sewage biosolid and fertilizer levels on the uptake of nutrient by maize, available nutrient status of soil was significant. Application of sewage biosolid either at 5 or 101/ha along with l00percent RDF were superior to 201 / ha alone and control.
