摘要

Biological indices such as Aggressivity Index were worked out for the three year data set of intercropping system to know the competitive behaviour of maize and urdbean row ratios. Aggressivity Index for all the row ratios of intercropping showing positive indicated dominance of maize crop. Anderson-Darling Normality Test, Shapiro-wilk test and normal probability plot showed normality in data sets and Bartlett test exhibited homogeneity in variances. These results enabled pooled statistical analysis of variance of different data sets. Result of pooled analysis indicated significant differences between the row ratios. Aggressivity value low in 2:1 row ratio (0.27) compare to 2:2 row ratio (1.20) and 1:1 row ratio (1.48) indicated low competition in 2:1 row ratio, however yield is realised to be more in 2:2 row ratio (6845.96 Kg/ha) compared to that of 2:1 row ratio (6499.28 Kg/ha). Yield is more in 2:2 ratio indicated, within crop competitions also equally important as like between crop competitions (Aggressivity Index) to increase yield.
