MITSUBISHI CLOSURE IN AUSTRALIA

Mitsubishi Motors Australia Ltd together with its parent company Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) has announced the closure of the Tonsley Park production facility in Adelaide, South Australia. The Tonsley Park facility manufactures the large 380 sedan and no other products in the Mitsubishi range will be affected by the closure, which will affect around 1,000 people. Mitsubishi Motors Australia Ltd President & CEO Robert McEniry said: "We are focused on growth in Australia, notwithstanding the decision to cease local manufacture.
