摘要

A field experiment was conducted during the year 2007 - 08 and 2008 - 09 with several treatments including organic amendments, bioagents and chemicals to manage root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita infesting tuberose. Among all treatments, Carbofuran 3G at 0.3 g a.i., / sq.m. was found most effective in minimizing the nematode population followed by a new nematicide, Cartap hydrochloride at 20 g / sq.m. Among organic amendments, neem cake at 100 g /sq.m and among bioagents, Pseudomonas fluorescens at 20 g / sq.m were superior in minimizing the nematode population and also increasing the number of flower stalks/hectare.
