Contribution of Socle-Psychological and Innovation Attributes in Adoption of Sunflower Cultivation Technologies

摘要

The study was conducted in six major sunflower growing districts of Karnataka. The study revealed that the cosmopolileness. extension orientation, management orientation, rationality in decision making and complexity of the technology has shown significant relationship with the adoption of the sunflower cultivation technologies. Further, the regression analysis shown that socio-economic status, cosmopoliteness, extension orientation, management orientation, credit orientation, rationality in decision making and trialability of the innovation contributed significantly towards the adoption of sunflower technology.
