Job satisfaction of teachers in the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore

A study on job satisfaction of teachers in the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore was conducted in 1998 with the help of structured pre-tested instruments and suitable scales. The study was conducted among 80 randomly selected Assistant and Associate Professors of the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore. Results indicated that 80 per cent of the teachers belonged to medium job satisfaction category, 12.5 per cent belonged to high and 7.5 per cent belonged to low satisfaction category. Age and guidance and supervision were positively and significantly related to the job satisfaction of teachers.
