Annual Taiwan Foundry Meeting

The Taiwan Foundry Society (TFS) recently presented Mike Swartzlander, general manager, Ashland Casting Solutions, and vice president, Ashland Specialty Chemical, a division of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH), with an honorary TFS membership. Swartzlander was the keynote speaker for the annual event. The TFS annual meeting brings foundry professionals together from throughout Taiwan. Dr. Weng-Sing Hwang, TFS president, presented Swartzlander with the honor after he delivered his talk, "The Golden Age of Castings-2005-2006."
